Doing really good stuff.

Fellowship at Plymouth UCC

“… that we may be faithful yet one more week.”

Plymouth UCC is more than Sunday worship. For Plymouth members and friends, the sense of community extends outside Sunday services and the church building. Opportunities for worship and fellowship happen every day and everywhere. You can find many of these opportunities listed on the Plymouth website's home page under "news and announcements," "events," or the church calendar. Whether you want to jump in with both feet or just place your big toe in the water, Plymouth offers you the chance to participate in whatever form you’re able. Here are some suggestions to get you started.

Hot Dog Food Booth at Festival of the Arts – The first full weekend in June, volunteers set up and staff Plymouth’s Hot Dog Food Booth at this nationally-recognized Grand Rapids’ tradition. Lots of work. Loads of fun.

Road clean-up – A group assembles three times a year to pick up trash along a one-mile stretch of road. Good exercise. Interesting finds.

Plymouth Book Club – Meets monthly to discuss books you’re likely to find on the New York Times’ bestseller list. Authors have also stopped by to discuss their work.

Prairie Dog Quilters – This group meets on Thursday mornings to make quilts for charity as well as to work on individual projects. Anyone who is interested in visiting, learning to quilt, or working on a project is welcome.

Additionally, fellowship dinners, parties, programs, and special events are scheduled throughout the year.
